Ponzu Steamed Veggie Buns

Posted by Picasa
These are a staple in my diet.  I thought I blogged about them once but couldn't find a post to link this to.  These are soft little pillows of bread filled with sauteed veggies, mostly radish.

Usually I just take them straight from the freezer, steam them and eat them plain.  They are delicious!
Last night I decided to try something new with them and poured Ponzu Sauce over them in the steamer when they were frozen and then steamed them.  I dipped them in some Ponzu that I heated and topped with chopped cilantro.

I like it!

Here is the link to another recipe that I used Ponzu in.  It is kind of like a zesty soy sauce with citrus juice in it.  At least that is what it tastes like.
